Launched in mid-2019, Utopica Media (Argentina) is a content agency focused on the development of fiction, designing each story with international and multiplatform potential.
In less than a year, the company has managed to sign strategic co-development agreements with companies such as Endemol Shine Iberia/Zeppelin (Spain), for the dramedy-pop series Fuego (Fire), CineCorp (Peru), for the comedy Sindrome (Syndrome), and is currently in pre-production of its short series Naturaleza Muerta (Dead Line), distributed by RMViSTAR globally (excluding Latin America) and with confirmed window in Latin America by WarnerMedia. ‘We believe in collaboration as a model to grow our stories, looking for the ideal partners to enhance them and take them to the next level,’ says Rodrigo Cantisano, Executive Producer.
In addition to its original stories, which range from short format and online productions to premium series and feature films, and various genres such as dramedy, thriller, action and sci-fi, the company has a writers’ hub headed by Carlos Wasserman, VP of Content Development, and Sofia Szelske, Content Creator, which enables the development of tailor-made stories for audiences around the world.
