
Pinches Momias, the first scripted series under the first-look deal between TelevisaUnivision and Propagate Fuego, began filming in Mexico City. The original production will be had its ViX+, the Spanish-language subscription streaming service set to launch in July. Propagate Fuego, Propagate‘s recently launched Spanish-language division, and Perro Azul are producing the project.
Santiago Limón and José Miguel Núñez created this action-horror-comedy series. Limón is the director and showrunner. Ben Silverman (The Office) Howard T. Owens and Rodney Ferrell are the executive producers for Propagate Fuego.

The story of Pinches Momias follows a group of troubled teenagers from Guanajuato who become their town’s only hope to survive, when its renowned Mummies of Guanajuato, one of the most fascinating collections of mummies in the world, come back from the dead during the busiest week of the year. The cast includes actors Rafael Inclán, Luis Fernando Peña, Carlos Aragón and Diana Bovio alongside Xiunel Gonzalez, Daniel Abrego, Rogelio Cruz, Saak Figueroa Bórquez, Berenice Jonguitud, and Laura Wedel.
