
The RTVE Showcase returns, which will celebrate its third edition at the Hotel Puerta América in Madrid from June 15 to 17, where the great contents of the corporation can be seen through its creators and protagonists.
Under the slogan ‘Creating content for you’, the third edition of the RTVE Showcase will be held from June 15 to 17 in Madrid, after two years of interruption due to the pandemic.
Executives from the main international audiovisual companies will participate in the event, such as: Netflix, HBO Max, AMC Networks, Disney, Paramount, Amazon Prime Video, Banijay, Lionsgate, Sony, Movistar, Orange, RAI, ZDF, Deutsche Welle, France Televisions, ARTE, RTP, TVI, M6, MBC, Dubai Media, Channel 22 and Channel 11 of Mexico, among others.
In addition, it will have the presence of actors, directors and producers of series such as No Limits, Peace Force, Sequía, HIT, Ana Tramel and La Caza Guadiana, daily fictions such as Dos Vidas and youth series such as Yrreal and Ser o No Ser. Documentaries such as Los Pilares del Tiempo and ADN Colón will be presented. Entertainment programs such as Lazos de Sangre and Un País Mágico will also be presented.
On the other hand, several discussion tables are scheduled, such as The scriptwriter’s trade, Writing for TV, Daily Series, Living every day, Current affairs of Spanish production or international co-production for debate, which will feature creators and managers from the audiovisual industry of Spain.
As in previous editions, the showcase will be hosted by Elena S. Sánchez. For its part, the fiction content will be moderated by José Pastor, director of Cinema and Fiction at RTVE. In parallel, private meeting and screening areas will be set up with more than 300 hours of programs to watch.
This third edition is part of the international commercial activity of the Corporation, whose objectives are: to show in an entertaining way what the Corporation produces and where it is headed in a global audiovisual world, increase the international sale of its products, give a boost to its image abroad as a promoter of the Spanish audiovisual industry and strengthen ties with the main players on the international scene.
