
South Korean media company CJ ENM has scored two nominations at the 2021 International Emmy Awards, which the nominations were announced on Thursday, 23rd September.
It is CJ ENM’s second achievement at the International Emmy’s, following a nomination for hit format I Can See Your Voice back in 2016 for non-scripted entertainment.
Under non-scripted entertainment, CJ ENM’s premium idol survival program I-LAND was nominated. Produced by CJ ENM, the survival show gathered millions of votes globally for each episode, the survival show received glowing love. It ultimately resulted in a boyband named ENHYPEN.
Psychological romance thriller series It’s Okay to Not Be Okay also earned a nomination for TV Movie / Mini-Series. Aired on tvN, a CJ ENM TV channel, in Korea and through Netflix globally, the series starred Kim Soo-hyun and Seo Yea-ji as main leads and was applauded for its story and the touch on mental health and incisive look into human nature. The series was produced by Studio Dragon.
